who we are

When sisters and co-founders Tuba and Aqsa faced the struggle of finding suitable curly hair products in Pakistan, they discovered a significant gap in the market. Existing international products failed to cater to South Asian hair types, leaving a void in the local beauty industry. And so it became clear that the Pakistani hair care industry was completely underserved when it came to curly hair, particularly concerning affordability for most people.

That’s the idea that started Coco Curls. The sisters started the brand with a clear mission: to offer the perfect hair care products specifically formulated for South Asian curly hair.

Today, Coco Curls isn't just a powerful hair care brand, but also a community of people learning to embrace their curls. Over the years, the brand has authentically evolved into an incredible community that inspires and reminds us of why we started Coco Curls in the first place – to encourage people to celebrate their natural hair texture and support others to do the same.

what we do

Coco Curls helps people embrace their naturally curly, wavy or textured hair. The hair care industry has been biased towards long, straight and silky hair. Big banner commercials rarely feature curly haired leads. Salons don't provide the kind of care curls need. Mainstream beauty just doesn't factor in curls. There is a strong societal and cultural preference for hair. At Coco Curls, we create products that are made for curls and waves so you no longer have to feel left out.

our origin

Coco Curls came into being when we couldn't find any local products for curly and wavy hair in Pakistan.

curly hair care made easy

We are on a mission to create the best products for curly, wavy and textured hair, while providing transparent and scientific information about our ingredients and processes. Our products are for all curl types and textures: wavy, curly, coily, fine, dense, thin, thick and everything in-between. Cultural bias forces many people to conform to non-inclusive hair standards. We’re committed to eliminating all such biases, creating a supportive community and kindling social change to ensure inclusive and transformative hair experiences for everyone.

our commitments

Conscious consumerism. Mindful choices. Safe ingredients.
